Imagine coming home for school to find a robot cooking your dinner! Well, that's possible now in Japan.
The robot stirs the ingredients in a bowl, pours them into a pan and servers your food. It also asks you what sort of sauces and condiments you would like. But if you want to understand, you'll have to learn Japanese!

The movie consistes of several stories that interweave during two days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters, a black police detective with a drugged out mother and a thieving younger brother, two car thieves who are constantly theorizing on society and race, the distracted district attorney and his irritated and pampered wife, a racist veteran cop (caring for a sick father at home) who disgusts his more idealistic younger partner, a successful black Hollywood director and his wife who must deal with racist cop, a Persian-immigrant father who buys a gun to protect his shop, a Hispanic locksmith and his young daughter who is afraid of bullets, and more.

Alice in Wonderland

1 comentaris

Lewis Carroll's book Alice in Wonderland is one of the most popular children's stories of all time. Now Tim Burton gives us a new version in 3-D! Alice, aged 17, runs away from a party because she doen't want to get married. She follows a white rabbit down a hole and arrives in Wonderland -a place she visited ten years ago. Strange people, like the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), are there to welcome her. And then her adventures begin!
Did you know? Tim Burton will be President of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival this year.
